Green and Red Peppers are the Same

Hello, Hello, Hello! PLANT UPDATE!!

Green Bell Pepper are Red Bell Peppers! Pretty fascinating! I never knew this until recently reading this last year. But to witness this right on your window seal is truly knowing.

I did no experence this with Bell pepper but with Jalapeanos.

Bell Peppers are a little different! All the different colors orginate from the same single seed. In most cases a green pepper will turn Green-Yellow- Orange- to Red. This is why they cost so much more because they take longer to grow.

I learned from http://whfoods.org, they have different nutrional value even though from the same seed! It's interesting to note that in addition to their unique colors, each differently hued bell pepper has a unique array of nutritional benefits. Green peppers feature an abundance of chlorophyll. Yellow peppers have more of the lutein and zeaxanthin carotenoids. Orange peppers have more alpha-, beta-, and gamma-carotene. Red peppers have more lycopene and astaxanthin, two other important carotenoids.

Here is a LIVE VIDEO I did on FB to show you my Jalapeons I
have grown on my window seal go from Green to RED!
