Ok so I have tried to get pictures of this dish and even save some but it is so good my sons and better half destroys it. I am going to tell you if you are trying to save any of this you are in for a rude awakening. There are no leftovers. PERIOD lol!
I was given this dish from my Late Grandma Joyce. She made this often and she ate it with crackers. One Afternoon I wanted to make this so bad but I had no eggs. I haven't been eating eggs lately and always forget to get them every once in a while. So, I decided to try this out without the eggs and I was amazed at how it tasted exactly the same. To be honest to be able to eliminate the boiling of the egg process to me is such a darn blessing! SHout out to all the lazy cooks out there who would like to knock out as many steps as possible but still keep it fresh lol.
Any hoot! This is a really great appetizer to keep your families bellies full!
Let's get started:
You Will Need:
- 3 Cans of Tuna in Water
- 3/4 a cup of Mayo (Vegan or Reg)
- 1/2 of finely Chopped Onions
- 1/2 Cup of Sweet Relish
- 21/2 Tablespoons of Yellow Mustard
- 1 Tablespoon of Sugar
- Pinch of Salt and Pepper
Drain your Tuna. Season with a little Salt and Pepper. Then add and mix all your ingredients together until it is all well meshed together.
Serve as a sandwich, or with crackers which is my favorite! This is great for game night, movie nights, or reward night when you had a great week of eating healthy!
This can last for up to 4 days in the fridge but again, if you make it correctly it WILL not last a long time at all!
