I honestly couldn't think of a good title for this blog, to be honest. So hopeful this attracts you to read it lol...
The word breakfast is a compound word that means a break from fasting because during your sleep time you are not eating of course.
So let's think about that for a second. Your body hasn't eaten for over 8 hours. What should we put into it?
Does this look familiar?
Pancakes, Syrup, Bacon, Sausage, Eggs and if I had to choose what is missing. Those good ole grits. And let us throw some cheese on those grits. And if you are crazy and eat grits with sugar. Throw that on there lol.
Funny but not funny. Lets together stop and think about the nutrition side of this plate.
Pancakes: Carb
Eggs: Protein
Sausage: Protein
Bacon: Protein
Syrup: Sugar
Coffee/Sugar/Cream: Sugar
Now imagine you staring your car up first thing in the morning and you put all of this in the gas tank to use as a fuel to get your car off to a great start. How do you think your car will run?? Now replace that car with your body and imagine how your body feels.
In the mornings I want to encourage you to eat to live and not live to eat. But what should I eat Zyykirrah in the morning Vegetables?
Exactly! But it does not have to just be veggies. Add fruit, have your protein and start but just MORE NUTRIENT FILL FOODS!
There are so many different options that you can play around with. It does not have to be the same old same old. It can be an amazing ensemble of selections.
Trust me when I tell you! Your body will thank you later for treating just as good as you would your car.
Don't forget a good ole smoothie never hurt the taste buds in the morning. That helps out the body along with some energy charged seeds too!
