Hello Hello Hello POWERBOWLS!

That's what you will begin to say when you learn this very simple concept that will make you want to eat healthily. This concept makes eating healthy exciting and for it to be simple is amazing! POWERBOWLS!
Power Bowls are usually really large bowls in diameter that we cram a ton of good stuff in using the concept of colors to connect the tastes.
You can put anything in your power bowl as long as it is good nutritional food and it looks like a rainbow.

For example, in this power bowl,
Corn on the Cob, Fried Tofu, Olives, Sweet Potato Slices, Homemade Avocado, Yellow Spanish Rice, Penguin Peas, and Black Bean Salad. All laying on a bed of Romaine Lettuce.
In the Power Bowl Above:
I have Homemade Hummus, Romaine Lettuce, Steamed Potatoes, Tomatoes, Red Onions, Pineapples.
No dressing is necessary when you have hummus.
You are the maestro of your power bowl. Put all your lettuce down FIRST and lay everything on top of the lettuce as if it is a bed. Think of colors creating a rainbow without the fear of some foods would match the other. I was so surprised how much Olives matched with the sweet Potato. Or how the pineapples made a perfect marriage with the hummus. And when other things do not match you know next time.
Lastly for your kiddos! They will love your MINI Power Bowls! They will be excited to try different things in their bowls. Our little ones had a ball with these and enjoyed MOST of the items inside LOL! Allow your children pallets to be expanded.
