Hello, Hello, Hello Overnight Oats!
This has become one of my favorite summer breakfasts and snacks. Even though it takes me a long time to finish it because it seems I get full from just 2 or 3 spoonfuls. So it can take you into lunch time. This is one of the most versatile dishes you can make and it can be served hot or cold. I love it right out the fridge but my sons love to pop it in the microwave for 30-60 seconds.
You decide how you prefer yours.
There are a few main ingredients to always have and from there you can mix and mingle flavors so to create your favorites!
My MUST haves to make the foundation of my overnight oats are as followed: Oatmeal, Chi Seeds, Sweetener, (Honey or Preferably Brown Sugar), and Almond Milk. From there you can add your fresh fruits, nuts, and flavors. Mason jars are recommended. With a Mason Jar, you can see what is in the and shake it up easily.
Let's get started!

Banana and Strawberry Overnight Oats:
You will Need: 1/2 a Cup of Oatmeal
1 Tablespoon of Chia Seeds3 Tablespoons of Honey (Your sweetener of choice)
1/2 cup of Almond Milk
1/2 a Cup of Strawberries Cut
1/2 a Cup of Banana's Cut
Coconut Shavings (Optional)
Tropical Trail Mix (Optional)
- First, add your oatmeal in a jar
- Next, add your chia seeds.
- Add your Honey
- Next, add your strawberries and your bananas.
- Then add your almond milk.
- Lastly, shake everything up and pop it in the fridge and allow it to sit overnight
- The next morning when you pop the lid off you can now add your coconut shavings and trail mix to the overnight oats or which ever toppings you prefer.
Enjoy cool or warmed! Your kids will love this for sure. Mix it up and don't be afraid to try new things. This can be left in the fridge for up to 5 days! This is a perfect dish for QUICK breakfasting! :-)
The sexy part about being sexy is not the way that you look, but the discipline it takes to look that way! :-)
