Window Seal Gardening!

I want to 1st of all apologize for taking so long to post. However I have been doing LIVE videos on my personal facebook page www.facebook.com/zyykirrah

So lately I have been very serious about growing my food. Especially after seeing this video that showed an Asian man making lettuce out of liquid!  If you have not seen this video yet,  CLICK HERE
I have not had a ton of success but I have grown some Basil, Romaine Lettuce, Cabbage (Not Harvest Yet) and Green Onion.

One of my favorite, fruits are tomatoes! Although it is a fruit I am very excited about growing them.
I want to encourage you to not get caught up if you do not have this bug space to grow your food. I live in a complex and I do not have an area on the ground to plant. However I am leaning on "Container Gardening"
Container Gardening is gardening in a container. This allows for anyone in any space to grow their own food!

To ones on the left have been in the water for 2 days, t
he long ones on the right for 1 week!
And in some cases like, Green Onions all you need is water to grow them right on your window seal as you see to your left.

Romaine Lettuce does the same however some argue to place them in a shallow bowl or container and transfer to the soil in 5-7 days. I did that and one died. Then the ones I left in the water grew to about 2-3 inches tall. Not quite enough for a salad but then one of them even died. So I am still trying to figure out how to give them a smooth transition.

One of my favorite vegetables, or I should say fruit since technically it is a fruit is Tomatoes.
If you decide to begin Window Seal Gardening be sure to try this awesome step that I've learned called "Seed Germination"
This is soon simple and easy to do! All you do is place your seeds onto a wet paper towel. Then you place them into a zip lock bag!
After you place them into a zip lock bag make sure you close it with air inside. You can blow in there just make sure your breathe doesn't stank because even plants dislike bad breathe lol.

THEN BE PATIENT!!!
I was so darn impatient I thought I would see something in 5 days and I saw NOTHING! But then last NIGHT LOOK WHAT HAPPENED!! Watch this video below!
