How to Make Tomato Soup

Tomato soup is a simple way to fill your belly with out all the calories and it is surprisingly simple to make.

Here is what you will need:

8 Roman Tomatoes
4 Fill cloves of garlic
1 White Onion
2 Scallions
1 Green Pepper
1 Carrot
3 Basil leaves
3 Tablespoons of Coconut Oil
Cumin
Salt
Pepper
Cayenne Pepper
1 cup of Cream  (optional and I do not add it)
Hand Blender or Reg Blender

Let's get started!

  1. First you want to preheat your oven to 375 Degrees
  2. Grab your Casserole Pan and add all your vegetable to it after you cut them all up. While you are cutting your vegetable remember you do not have to worry about if the cuts a perfect or not because you are going to blend them all up.
  3.  Season your vegetable! Use all your seasonings above!
  4. Take your coconut oil and if it melted sprinkle it around evenly onto your vegetables and then begin to stir them all around.
  5. Place your pan into the over for about 30-35 mins or until all the vegetables have roasted and all their nature oils and water can be on the top.
  6. Place the pan on a even surface with a towel underneath and grab your hand blender. You can do this while it is hot but be careful. Now begin pulsing your vegetable on low speed for about 5 mins or until all of your ingredients are completely blended together. (If you are using a hand blender you would put all the contents into the blender and blend all the vegetables together.)
  7. If you are going to add your cream this would be when you add it and continue to stir.
  8. Now taste to season and add what ever you feel is needed.

Now you can sir up this pot of love with some many meals. Of course, Grill Cheese always hits the spot when having tomato soup, or have a soup and salad, or just a piece of Pumpernickel Toast, or enjoy this summer and or winter soup all by its self and I am sure your family will love you for making HIS Food!
